This annual conference on 5 November, presented by the In-house and Public Sector Committee in collaboration with Law Society Finuas Skillnet is aimed at solicitors employed in-house in the private and public sectors. 

You will hear from keynote speaker, Amanda Shantz, who will speak about Enhancing the Effectiveness of the In-House Legal Team, as well as Derek Hegarty who will explore Legal Professional Privilege and the In-House Solicitor. 

 

Both presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, where panel members from both, private and public sectors will share their personal observations and insights so that you can leave the day with practical and actionable tips and tools. Other speakers on the day will include: Nicholas Donnelly, Head of Legal Unit, Department of Justice and Equality; Méabh Gallagher, Director of Corporate Governance & Legal Counsel, Data Protection Officer, Aer Lingus and Laura McGovern, Senior Legal Advisor, Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
