Extended suite of specialised skills programmes starting this February

Choose from Employment Law, Coaching Skills, Legal Research, Planning Law, Professional Education and Property Law in our suite of specialised skills training programmes starting this February. Programmes cover a mix of general and management CPD.


  • Legal Research Skills (13 & 27 February)


The Legal Research Skills Workshops are aimed at practitioners and focus on solving clients’ problems. An overview of both paper-based and electronic resources will be followed by practical workshops whereby delegates carry out systematic and comprehensive research. Delegates will leave with skills to enable them to analyse clients’ instructions to identity the issues and ultimately present the results of their research in a clear and practical format.  The Course is iPad-based with research carried out on both iPads and PCs - read Course details.


  • Property Transactions Masterclass Module 3 (14 & 15 February)

The third and final part of this Masterclass will focus on providing practitioners with a comprehensive understanding of the area of Commercial Property Transactions. Participants can claim 10 hours of CPD including 2 hours of management & professional development skills – Read Course Details.

  • Certificate in Professional Education (Starts February)

This Certificate in Professional Education will give you the skills, knowledge and technical expertise you need to design and run your own programmes successfully. It is particularly suited to professional services lawyers/knowledge lawyers and those responsible for talent management within firms – Read Course details.


  • Coaching Skills for Solicitors and Practice Managers (Starts February 2020)


This accredited programme will provide an overview of the latest coaching theory and practice models. Participants will also identify a development agenda and will experience being coached in relation to personal career goals.   • Employment Law Masterclass (20 March)

This one-day Employment Law Masterclass will give practitioners a highly practical and up to date insight into how to deal in a practical way with common employment law issues and problems.   • Planning & Environmental Law for the Conveyancer (24 & 25 April)


This Planning & Environmental Law Masterclass is aimed at all practitioners acting in both residential and commercial transactions. Our Masterclass format includes a workshop element in each module to gain a practical and applied understanding of this area of the conveyancing process.
