Choose from Property, Probate, Coaching, Legal Research, Planning Law and Professional Education in our suite of specialised skills training programmes starting this November.

 

  • Property Transactions Masterclass (Starts 29/30 November)

This Property Transactions Master Class is divided into three discreet sessions to enhance your understanding of key areas of practice. The first session is focused on the Fundamentals of Property Transactions, the second on Complex Property Transactions (Jan 2020) and the final and third session will focus on Commercial Property Transactions (Feb 2020) - read Course details

  • Wills Drafting Masterclass (5 December)

This new one-day masterclass will highlight the pitfalls for practitioners and best practice when taking instructions and drafting wills to ensure that the will executed carries out the client’s informed instructions in a clear unambiguous manner as tax efficiently as reasonably possible – read Course details

  • Certificate in Professional Education (Starts February 2020)

This Certificate in Professional Education is aimed at professional educators who design and/or deliver programmes to professionals. The course is suited to educators from a range of professional fields including law, medicine, accountancy, taxation, pharmacy and international education – read Course details.

 

  • Coaching Skills for Solicitors and Practice Managers (Starts February 2020)

 

As well as providing an overview of the latest coaching theory and practice models, participants will identify a development agenda and will experience being coached in relation to personal career goals. Feedback will be offered on progress throughout the Programme alongside learning how to develop teams - read Course details.

 

  • Legal Research Skills (13 & 27 February 2020)

 

The Legal Research Skills Workshops are aimed at practitioners and focus on solving clients’ problems. An overview of both paper-based and electronic resources will be followed by practical workshops whereby delegates carry out systematic and comprehensive research. Delegates will leave with skills to enable them analyse clients’ instructions to identity the issues and ultimately present the results of their research in a clear and practical format.  The Course is iPad-based with research carried out on both iPads and PCs - read Course details.

 

  • Planning & Environmental Law for the Conveyancer (24 & 25 April 2020)

 

This Planning & Environmental Law Masterclass is aimed at all practitioners acting in both residential and commercial transactions. Our Masterclass format includes a workshop element in each module to gain a practical and applied understanding of this area of the conveyancing process. The topics covered reflect the planning and environmental issues arising for conveyancers, in addition to an overview of the planning application and appeal process - read Course details.
