Gain practical insight into conveyancing practice changes with this popular certificate
Late applications are now being accepted for the Diploma Centre’s popular Certificate in Conveyancing, which begins on Tuesday 13 October 2020. This course provides a practical insight into the “pre-contract investigation of title” (PCIT) system, introduced on 1 January 2019.
The new system, which improved the conveyancing process by ensuring any queries relating to the property’s title are raised and resolved before the contracts are signed, is a fundamental change to the legal practice and procedures involved in buying and selling property. As such, this certificate provides participants with a comprehensive overview and understanding of the PCIT system and of the issues currently relevant to conveyancing practitioners.
Designed with a practical focus, the Certificate in Conveyancing reviews best conveyancing practice, provides precedents, and offers students the opportunity to learn through problem-based scenarios.
The course is delivered via an innovative ‘flipped classroom’ approach that offers participants ultimate flexibility in how they approach their learning. This format sees lectures released in an online tranche, with participants provided a window of a number of weeks to view the recorded content and complete online learning activities in a self-paced manner. The online releases are bookended by two days of interactive online workshops.
