CPD Clusters: General Practice Updates on 20 May, 17 June and 2 July in collaboration with bar associations as on-line webinars
Each event is different. Speakers and topics include: Anne Stephenson and Padraic Courtney on probate; Stuart Gilhooly and Colette Reid on litigation; Helen Coughlan, Keith Walsh and Siún Hurley on family law and Marguerite Bolger S.C. on employment. See below for more detail about these and other speakers and topics.
 
The annual programme of CPD Cluster events offers a mix of general, regulatory matters and management and professional development CPD hours. In order to enable access for all, these events will be available to attend as webinars with live Q&As. All materials will be sent to delegates in advance.

20 May – Midland General Practice Update 2021 in partnership with the Laois Solicitors’ Association, Kildare Bar Association, Midland Bar Association and Carlow Bar Association. Speakers and topics include: Padraic Courtney - probate, Richard Hammond S.C. - negative interest rate charges; Barry McCarthy – a guide to professional indemnity insurance, Colette Reid – litigation; Helen Coughlan, Siún Hurley, Keith Walsh in a panel session with His Honour Judge Keenan Johnson - family law; 
 
17 June – North West Practice Update 2021 in partnership with the Donegal Bar Association and Inishowen Bar Association. Speakers and topics include: Anne Stephenson – Probate; Richard Hammond - negative interest rate charges; Fiona Stanley – Solicitors’ Accounts Regulations and preparing for an investigation in a virtual world; Stuart Gilhooly – litigation.
 
2 July – Essential Solicitors’ Update 2021 in partnership with the Clare Bar Association and Limerick Bar Association. Speakers and topics include: Joyce Good – conveyancing; Stuart Gilhooly – litigation; Marguerite Bolger S.C. – employment law; Richard Hammond S.C. - negative interest rate charges; Suzanne Kearney – digital signatures; Paula Reid – online presentations and meetings.
There will be more Clusters announced in the coming weeks, further details are to be finalised.
