Over the last year, you have told us of the need for skills training across a wide range of areas. We have listened and today we are delighted to announce our NEW Open Skills training workshops for all staff working in the Legal Services Sector.
•Professional Development Skills Programme
This programme comprises of a suite of skills workshops. It is open to all staff working within the legal services sector. It addresses the day-to-day challenges facing all employees working in our radically changed working environment with new technology, less face-to-face interactivity and ever changing client care demands. The workshops are:

Proofreading workshop - 30 June
Building Emotional Resilience – 11 August

Influencing and Persuasive Business Writing Skills - 10 November
•Managers' Skills Programme
This programme comprises of a suite of skills workshops. It is open to all staff who manage other staff within the legal services sector. It addresses the need for new skills to manage staff working within changed working environments with new challenges, evolving client expectations and evolving operational management structures. The workshops are:
Project Management – 20 April
Business Acumen & Finance – 25 May
Handling Critical Conversations for Managers – 28 September
All workshops are stand-alone and participants can pick and mix the ones of most relevance to them. Numbers are strictly limited to 12 to ensure that learning outcomes are achieved and participants have maximum engagement with the expert trainers.
